Renee's is SO hiker friendly! We got off a section hike of the Appalachian Trail this morning and stopped at Renee's for breakfast. Our waitress was friendly and Renee herself stopped by several times to visit with us and talk about hikers. Most hiker friendly restaurant I've visited in 500 miles through six states. And the food was delicious. Great menu. We all had a hard time choosing, everything looked so good.

A really nice diner. Tasty veggie omelette and good fries. Service was friendly, prices were good. NOTE: CASH ONLY. The ac was off and it was too warm for me, but I’m almost always too warm. Loud talkers at the next table but what are you going to do?

I was annoyed that they don't take credit cards, then I was annoyed they didn't have air conditioning...then got my food. Wow really good quality food and big portions. Good value. I'd go back, with more cash.

My wife and I had breakfast here on a Thursday morning in April 2019. We are senior citizens and tourists visiting the Berkshires for the first time. We enjoyed the breakfast. It's a cute, homey little restaurant and the waitress provided good, friendly service. We ordered a western omelette, which was fine except for the toast, and a breakfast sandwich on kaiser roll, which was superb. The kaiser roll was toasted perfectly and it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have had. Regarding the toast that came with the omelette: the extra-thick bread slices were okay, but the chef was too generous with the butter, and the butter itself was not good (the butter had a thick, odd appearance, was off-color, and appeared fake or just weird). We overheard another diner asking for toast with no butter, and we were unsure if the reason was the same as I am saying. Despite this one negative with our meal, Renee's is a good place. Recommended.

Our waitress was very nice but Renee the owner was extremely rude. We sat outside and we were served outside so there was no problem. Yet when Renee the owner saw we were outside she rudely asked us to pick our things up and move inside even though she could see we were finished. Then made it clear that it was our fault for sitting outside and not moving inside even though nobody ever asked us to move inside. Handled completely wrong and was not nice about anything. Also, don’t get the biscuits and gravy because no it’s not very good.
